This Broadacre project consisted of a significant single storey extension to a four-bedroom property. The brief for the project included the need for a spacious open plan kitchen/diner, a downstairs study, and reconfiguration of the existing layout to create a secondary entrance with boot room.
To achieve this, we created a large extension to the rear and side of the property, flooding the downstairs area with natural light. The openable skylights to the vaulted ceiling and the large profile aluminium sliding doors worked together to provide ample natural light and an airy feel to the space.
The result was a beautiful extension that significantly improved the property’s functionality, aesthetic, and overall value.

This Broadacre project consisted of a large, single storey extension to the rear of an existing chalet bungalow. With the rear of the property North facing, one of the essential components of the project brief was to optimize the amount of natural light that streamed into the new area.
To achieve this objective, we installed twin lantern rooflights and a generous set of patio doors. In addition to the new extension, we executed internal modifications, such as setting up a brand-new central heating system, a complete revamp of the bathroom, as well as installing new flooring and carrying out decorative work throughout the ground floor.
The client received a more spacious and light filled area with improved functionality and comfort.

We had the pleasure of serving as principle contractor on this project. Our involvement began in the pre-construction phase, where we met with the architect to discuss the project requirements and provided our assessment of the design information. Based on this, we produced formal works packages to submit for tender, ensuring all aspects of the project were accounted for and properly planned.
Once the design was finalised and the necessary permissions were obtained, we began organising the relevant subcontractors to undertake the work. Our team worked closely with each subcontractor, coordinating schedules to ensure that the project was completed within the specified timeline and budget. We also oversaw the work of each subcontractor to ensure that it was carried out to the highest standard.
Throughout the construction process, we maintained open lines of communication with our client, keeping them informed of our progress and addressing any concerns or questions they had. Our goal was to ensure that the client was completely satisfied with the end result, and we worked tirelessly to achieve this.
The result, we delivered an outstanding contemporary kitchen extension to a beautiful 1880’s house that exceeded expectations. With feature brickwork, structural Glulam beams and curved walls, we’re proud of the work we did on this project and the relationships we built with our client and subcontractors.
